A Vibrant Community Public Assembly!

Ottawa, July 11th 2025 – On June 25, Montfort Renaissance had the pleasure of bringing together its community to celebrate a year filled with achievements and inspiring collective engagement.

During our annual Community Public Assembly, we shared the organization’s major milestones, celebrated the outstanding work of our teams, and most importantly, demonstrated the tangible impact of their work. The event also marked a significant transition for the organisation with the official handover of leadership from Jeanne-Hélène Tardivel, after 20 years of dedicated service, to Elizabeth Tanguay, our new Executive Director, who is committed to continuing our bold, inclusive, and sustainable mission.

A particular highlight of the event was the unveiling of a collective art piece created by participants of the Ateliers de l’Élan, under the guidance of Stéphanie Bonenfant, the Mental Health Programs Coordinator. The artwork, composed of 30 canvases mounted on branches, symbolizes three decades of adaptability and showcases the creativity of volunteers through various mediums (paint, beads, fabric, etc.). Lyne Ouellette, a participant of the Ateliers de l’Élan, delivered a powerful and moving testimony about her recovery journey as a person living with borderline personality disorder, illustrating the healing power of artistic expression. The piece was presented to Elizabeth Tanguay as a welcome gift and will be proudly displayed in her office.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to advancing our mission.

The future is ours to shape — together!
