Intensive Community Support Program

This service aims at providing francophone individuals who are dealing with a severe and persisting mental health issue with the help and support they require in the course of their recovery journey.

This service aims at providing francophone individuals who are dealing with a severe and persisting mental health issue with the help and support they require in the course of their recovery journey. We encourage the person’s own ability to find solutions and we support her/him during the implementation of these solutions and contribute to establish a social and community network focused on maintaining the person’s well-being.

Admission Requirements

  • Residing in Ottawa
  • Being francophone
  • Being 16 years old or older
  • Living with a severe and persistent mental health disorder
  • Experiencing great difficulty in living in the community because of frequent hospitalizations
  • Having functional limitations that make it difficult, or may make it difficult, to live in the community

Contact the coordinator of the recovery support programs, at 613.742.0988, extension 633, or the centralized admission of the Community mental health support services from the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), at 613.737.7791.
