2026 Annual Community Gathering – Our People, Our Community
We are pleased to invite our partners and funders to our Annual Community Gathering, taking place on June 10. For the first time, the event will be held in both official languages, reflecting the diversity of our partners and the communities we serve. Because we make a difference together, this gathering is a valuable opportunity to strengthen the relationships that allow us to better support the people we serve.
Under the theme “Our People, Our Community”, the Annual Community Gathering will showcase a mosaic — a collective artwork created by individuals we support daily through services in seniors’ care, addictions, mental health, and housing. We will also have the privilege of welcoming keynote speaker Stéphane Trottier, author of The Forgotten Leaders. Written in Ottawa, the book draws on raw, street-level accounts and powerful testimonies of human struggle that he has witnessed — offering a compelling perspective on leadership through life stories deeply rooted in the realities we encounter.
The event will take place at Terrasses Montfort Renaissance, a living environment that concretely reflects our integrated approach to social housing and recovery.
